Once again Val Kilmer proves that how versatile he can be and that he is no doubt one of the best actors in hollywood.

Going through his career as we see him playing cowboy, mob, batman or in a romantic role like At first sight he always justified his role but this time he is not only brilliant but totally dominates the scene in a movie where the story itself is very strong.

He plays a high class thief who is expert in disguises. He goes by different names of catholic saints. Elisabeth shue plays the role of a scientist( Elisabeth Shue as a scientist Wow.) who is about to discover something and it's his job to steal the formula. Here comes romance when he discovers that she could be her lost love and feels that he is falling for her, but this does not effect the original plot which is very strong.
There are a no of chase scenes and the way he manages to get away every time is very entertaining.

You probably have not seen him in as many roles as he plays in this single movie.The plot is great and now a days you hardly find story line as griping as this one. Technically very strong movie with suspense and twists which won't allow you to move even to grab a snack.

This movie never got the recognation it desrved from the press but no doubt it is a beautifully directed thriller with Val kilmer at his best. Over all the movie is a great treat, a must see.
