Advantages: first album was good, alright live
Disadvantages: everything else
Oh dear. Poor old Oasis. They just aren't what they used to be. They seem to be falling apart, both musically and literally. I bought `Definitely Maybe` when it came out and thoroughly enjoyed it. `What's the Story` was more of the same, only less rockin'. I copied `Be Here Now` off a friend, and it was pretty poo. My flatmate bought `Shoulder of Giants` and well... snore!...?...! Okay, I'll admit they're pretty good live, but they are so tired now musically, that they're almost comatose. Noel just doesn't have any fresh ideas, and anyone who says `Fuckin' in the Bushes` is experimental is living in a dreamworld. Liam is highly annoying, and doesn't seem to care any more. Good - oh, and goodbye Patsy. I thought that Andy Bell (who was good in his Oxford band - `Ride`) might add something, but he just seems to be strumming along to Noel's music-by-numbers. Oasis. Musical grandads at 30. Now isn't that a shame? Well... no.
