Advantages: Keeps brats out of seeing decent bands

Disadvantages: expensive!

I recently bought tickets to see Slipknot in November this year(ok, they aren't strictly pop, but I still have a view on ticket prices!).At £20 a ticket plus £2 handling charge and 50p postage it does seem a little steep especially as transport etc needs to be considered as additional cost.
However I think that £22.50 is actually quite a good deal for a night out seeing a live band who you would otherwise only hear on cds.£22.50 does seem quite a lot of money especially for a band who are mostly liked by younger fans who may not have that much money, however most young people i know buy several cds each month coming to at least the price of a ticket to see a concert!
I would definetly not pay more than about 5 pence to see a teenybopper band and then i'd only go to laugh at them.If you really like a band you will feel happy about paying the price of a couple of cds to see them!
