Advantages: Ash are talented,, attractive and, ..and go from strength to strength
Disadvantages: You may buy their albums and become poor
Ash severly Rock. Tim Wheeler is the bees Knees. Earthly respect for Charlotte Hatherly too! They are thee most underated yet talented band to emerge from the mid 1990s. They have three brill abums to date plus 'Trailer'. I cannot name a single song that does not do them justice. Their albums keep improving, their talent, raw and energetic goes from strength to strength. Each album contains a memorable set of songs. The great 'Oh yeah' on the debut '1977' which the boys wrote whilst they were still at 6th form is an achievement, the song is one to chant to and never tires me out. 'Nu clear sounds', their second album shows signs of sheer rock talent. Ash are one of those rare bands who have the ability to do both fast, raw tracks and slow melancholy tunes fantastically. I was so convinced that 'Free all Angels' would be a stunner of an album that I did not even request to listen to it on the listening posts in my record shops. I was proved right. 'Burn baby burn' 'Cherry bomb' and 'Candy' are some of the tunes to listen and stomp to. The album also contains goodies for you computer. I so fancy Mr Wheeler. Ash are my most cherished band at the mo. I urge anyone yet to hear them do so NOW! You will be convinced, they truly are the Rock Gods of out time, a time when music in the charts has little to offer our generation ;-)
