Rewind to 7 months ago. Atomic Kitten had disappointing chart positions, no tangible fanbase, an album which no-one bought, a member all teenage girls hated due to being the girlfriend of a Westlife member and was now up the duff. They were dropped by their record company who had persevered with them for longer than normal (poor old Girl Thing only lasted 2 singles). Then 'Whole Again' came out, and went to #1. Everyone was shocked. Everyone became even more shocked as the record continued to sell, eventually staying at the top for 4 weeks. Kerry Katona was sacked (sorry, 'went on a break'), and was replaced by Jenny, fresh out of newly ... Read the complete review

Why pointing this finger of argument solely at Atomic Kitten may be a little contentious, they are amongst a guilty breed of pop musicians currently littering the already maligned charts by opting for a well-worn method of record sales. The cover version. Now this particular pot-boiler of intrigue has been giving me annoyance for a number of years now but I feel I must comment in the wake of the Kitten's Eternal Flame loitering ominously near the top of the charts. One question - why oh why have you decided to mutilate a tune that deserves leaving alone in the first place? If you're talented enough to produce an album's worth of candy-pop then don't rely ... Due to the fact that I have no current job I have the pleasure of watching a load of daytime TV, before I'm told to get of my arse & look for a job, I have been doing that too :-) And while watching the marvel that is daytime tv & the kids school holiday tv I just couldn't escape Atomic Kitten, they were on GMTV then on some kids show on BBC2 then later that afternoon on somekids show on ITV!! 3 shows in one day!! Bearing in mind that the last couple of weeks they had shown thier ... Read the complete review

Atomic Kitten feature three mature singers who are great at singing and quite a hit with the Pop Industry and they have been everywhere but why? Atomic kitten started out in December 1999 by getting a place with ''Right now'' at Number 10. Then In April 2000 they later realesed ''See ya'' and that entered at Number Six they where improving then in July 2000 came ''I want your love'' with it going to Number 10 again. Then saw a massive downturn for Atomic Kitten with the next single ''Follow Me'' failing to make an impressive entry in the charts and they enter in number 20. Then in January ... Dear God.Every time I switch on my tv they're there.Either pouting with ever-increasing desperation in their videos or hysterically giggling their way through an iterview.( At the notion of writing a song, perhaps.) And why? usually to be this successful and this talentless you have to be stunningly beautiful, but they resemble a gang of scally scousers with 3 rhyming-named kids each. And they truly are talentless; sounding like a trio of frightening,shiny,orange-tinted pixies doing drunken karaoke. I can't think of one thing that compensates for any of this, apart from the fact that pop being the fickle field that it is it can't be long ... Read the complete review
