Disadvantages: Oh yes. Where to begin.

I imagine that the Backstreet Boys are fully aware of the fact that their music is nothing to write home about. It fills a niche, that being the sub-teen and early teen girl market. However, due to their intense popularity, I have found myself being forced to listen to the Backstreet Boys more than any sane person should desire. Thus I hate them. Their lyrics mean nothing. They have no musical talent. Their songs are hideously unoriginal. They are stupid people. Yes, I know they are here for a purpose, and that purpose should not affect, or annoy, those who choose to listen to actual music. But can they please, please, get the hell off my radio.

How come if you hate Backstreet Boys music so much, that you own some albums by them? I can understand people who don't like Backstreet Boys etc for a good reason, just as I don't like certain singers/bands although I happen to think they are a fantastic band that are very underrated, but why do you have to slag them off? Perhaps it's because you know that they are a quality band but you are too immature to admit this? As for saying they are stupid people - well, they haven't done too badly at all so they can't be that stupid. I am not a 'sub teen' or 'early teen' by the way, but a mother of 2 grown-up daughters, as are many of their fans.By the way, you were forced to listen to them on the radio were you? Did somebody tie you to it or something?
