With the line 'Maybe there's a reason wher e I'm born again' belted out in a strong vocal it's absolutely upbeat and inspiring. 4. 40 Days, 40 Flights Another mid-tempo number that reminds me of his work on 'About a Boy'. It's about over-travelling, about being over-tired, about remembering a meeting with someone whose name cannot be recalled. But don't think it's a somber...more

Badly Drawn Boy first came to wide public attention when his album 'The Hour of the Bewildebeest' won the Mercury Music Award and the single from that album, 'Once More Around the Block', was used on just about every TV programme at the time. I first heard Badly Drawn Boy on the radio, and I really didn't like it much, but recently I have heard more and more, and it really has grown on me. I'm wasn't really into the 'indie' side of music either, as I prefer bands such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead and Green day. Anyway, now Coldplay, the Doves and Badly Drawn Boy have arrived in my ears I am enjoying it a lot more. I haven't heard all of the album, and I haven't seen them perform live, but my favourite songs by them at the moment would have to be 'Once around the block', and 'Disillusion', which both have funny videos. One video is of the man ...
