Yes he can play I was very impressed with Damon Gough -- Badly drawn boy, at Glastonbury festival. He had a solo performance playing keyboard and acoustic guitar. Beautiful

Sunday afternoon at about 4 10pm I was in front of the Pyramid stage where many a big name band has played exciting and vibrant music. I was sitting on the grass talking to my husband, watching the colourful crowd all around me. I was thinking it must be the year of the hat a good proportion of the crowd were wearing one .I looked up at the stage and noticed a scruffy young man in a hat come on he was very cautious a little nervous

The audience who are lazing on the grassy slope weary after 2 or 3 heavy nights with little or no sleep roused itself as he haphazardly started to strum a tune. It was gentle and soothing, restful and melodic perfect very relaxing. I listened to it my mind did not drift away from his playing and singing but was carried along with it He played the keyboard and acoustic guitar .Yes that boy can play he sang too.

I cannot tell you what songs he played, as I am not familiar with his work. I was tired and did not really hear the tittles. He said he was playing mostly new material. He captured the audience?s attention I felt cosy and lovely warm and satisfied. He finished playing and it began to drizzle. Dearly beloved and I looked at each other and said shall we go. We went to our tent and packed it up in the light drizzle we could hear Isaac Hayes play as we packed our tent into my bright red rucksack. We sadly left I would liked to hear Roger Plant but we both knew we had a busy day with the kids at work the next day so we sadly left Glastonbury Till next year
Thank you for listening I feel like I HAVE BEEN TALKING TO YOU . I think I must be tired.

I don't think I've ever actually heard anything performed by Badly Drawn Boy... will have to borrow the CD from somebody!
