espite the best attempts of my girl friend over the last six years I have not yet been able to bear to listen to Barry White. The music is soporific nonsense with neither the speed of real dance-able music nor the interest of a proper melody. Barry white is the ultimate "walrus of Luurve" and he is currently particularly cool due to his involvement in the tv series Ally McBeal in which Barry White is Basically John cage one of the central characters' sex drives (if that makes any sense!). Anyway I have been a fan of Barry's every since i was in a club in Romania a few years ago and at 6am in the morning the dj put on Barry, but i think he must have fallen asleap as he ended up playing the whole album! There is no doubting that Barry has something over every other romantic/ sexual singer in our time. His music is overtly sexual in tone and sometimes in terms of lyrics which ...
