I have had the joy of listening to the majority of beastie boys stuff laid down and to have seen them perform and I will go as far as to say they are the most talented and intellectual hip hoppers on the planet. With a kick ass DJ to boot. Their videos are so sweet and they even manage to have a live show that seems like they are just as wacky in real life. Lyrical geniuses each of them but they also go much deeper. With a social concience they are aware of the plight of the tibetan people and strive to help the dalai lama promote the hardships these people endure. They also at every public opportunity try to bring attention to many good causes.

If only they could reach out to more people in this country it would raise the intelligence level if nothing else but with the steady flow of Nu-metal crap it is hard to promote a band of guys who were rapping when the majority of youngsters where in nappies. They are seen as uncool which is such a load of rubbish they invented the white rap scene without anyone taking them seriously. I think that if you want to give them a try go straight to ill communication and tracks such as sabotage and listen to their kick-ass lyrics. couldn't recommend them highly enough. GO NOW AND BUY BEASTIE BOYS MUSIC!!!!!!
