A few weeks ago I watched the televison programme outlining the life of The BeeGees. I thought they were absolutely great, it made enjoyable and entertaining viewing. After watching the show it inspired me to go out and buy one of their CD's. When I was younger I was a fan of The BeeGees, and I did have some of their albums, however, these had become misplaced over the years. Anyway I was in Tesco's and I saw their CD The Very Best Of The BeeGees, and I decided to purchase it. There are often groups who cover Bee Gees songs (boyzone, steps etc) which is good because it brings the Bee Gees to the masses, I think that if you mentioned the Bee Gees to most teenagers they would scoff, but I am only 25 and have loved the Bee Gees for a long time (I have a very wide diverse music taste!). When you listen to a Bee Gees album you recognise a lot of songs it is a case of "Did they do this song then, I never knew that". There musical style is disco-y and a lot of the songs are sung very high pitched (think the chipmunks), but they also have a lot of classic ballards too!
