Raissa will probably not ring too many bells with many off you. However, she was responsible for one of the finest, if commercially unsuccessful, albums of the late 1990's. Formerly in a band of the same name, Raissa Panni went solo to release 'Believer' in late 1999. She toured with Suede in the late 1990's, and has received much critical acclaim for her album. She released a number of singles off the album, and despite appearances on shows such as 'TFI Friday', the tracks failed to make an impact on the charts. This was a real shame, as I think more exposure may have led her to become one of the biggest solo artists in this country ...
