*** Who Is Bif Naked? *** Born an illegitimate child in India, Beth Torbet was adopted by American missionaries and after a spell in America eventually wound up in Canada. Bif is an old school nickname, and adopted the Naked as part of her passage into the US punk rock scene. After a spell as a wild child, drinking, smoking and taking too many drugs and marrying and divorcing her bands drummer, Bif adopted a "straight-edge", more spiritual lifestyle.
