From NYC, Marcel Hall, began his journey through the world of Hip-Hop, when he began to freestyle in the Manhattan club scene in the early 80s’. He became a regular at places such as The Funhouse and The Roxy, where he gained huge crowd support and caught the eye of some producers because of his raw talent. In 1985, Biz meet a producer named Marley Marl, later that year he and the producer work on some of Biz’s first demo tapes. He debut album, Goin’ Off in 1988, on Cold Chilln’.
