The Band In General:

My favorite band has to be Blink 182. They formed in 1993, and since then have had four recorded albums, one live album and two demo albums. They were originally Mark Hoppus (bass and vocals), Tom DeLonge (Guitar and vocals) and Scott Raynor (drums). When they formed they went by the name 'Blink' but an Irish band called 'Blink' threatened them with a law suit, so they became Blink 182 (beacuse 182 is the number of times the 'F word' is said in the bands favourate film.

Mark, Tom and Scott reorded the demos 'Flyswatter' and 'Buddha', They later released the Buddha demo with a few tracks replaced by different ones and it also featured music Blink 182 had recorded for a Reebok advert. Next they released their first full album 'Cheshire Cat', which was followed by 'Dude Ranch'. On one of Blink 182's tours Scott was ill so they needed to find a replacement. Travis was working for another band, but he helped them out and lerned all the songs they were going to perform in less than an hour. Scott left ant Mark and Tom offered the job to Travis which he accepted.

Mark, Tom and Travis recorded the albums Enema of the State, which won them the award for 'Best New Act' at the MTV Europe Awards 2000. They then released the Live album 'The Mark, Tom and Travis Show' which featured many lives tracks, and their latest album they relesed was 'Take Off Your Pants And Jacket'.

The Albums:

Cheshire cat featured 16 tracks; Carousel, M+M's, Fentoozler, Touchdown Boy, Strings, Peggy Sue, Sometimes, Does My Breath Smell?, Cacophony, TV, Toast and Bananas, Wasting Time, Romeo and Rebecca, Ben Wah Balls, Just about Done and Depends.

Dude Ranch has one of my favorate songs on it 'Dammit'. The other tracks are: Pathetic,
Voyeur, Boring, Dick Lips, Waggy, Enthused, Untitled, Apple Shampoo, Emo, Josie, A New Hope, Degenerate, Lemmings and I'm Sorr

Enema of The State Fetures more of the bands greatest songs Aliens Exist,WHAT'S MY AGE AGAIN?, ADAM'S SONG and ALL THE SMALL THINGS. It also featured the song 'MUTT' from the american pie soundtrack. The other tracks are DUMPWEED, DON'T LEAVE ME, ALIENS EXIST, GOING AWAY TO COLLEGE, DYSENTERY GARY, THE PARTY SONG, WENDY CLEAR, ANTHEM.

The Mark, Tom and Travis show features 20 great tracks: DUMPWEED, DON'T LEAVE ME, ALIENS EXIST, FAMILY REUNION, GOING AWAY TO COLLEGE, WHAT'S MY AGE AGAIN?, DYSENTERY GARY, RICH LIPS, BLEW JOB, UNTITLED, VOYER
PATHETIC, ADAM'S SONG, PEGGY SUE, WENDY CLEAR, CAROUSEL, ALL THE SMALL THINGS, MUTT, THE COUNTRY SONG, DAMMIT, MAN OVERBOARD.

Take of your pants and jacket has loads of great songs and my faves are Reckless Abandon and First Date. The Other tracks are Anthem Part Two, Online Songs, Happy Holidays, You Bastard, Story Of A Lonely Guy, The Rock Show, Stay Together For The Kids, Roller Coaster, Everytime I Look For You,Give Me One Good Reason, Shut Up, Please Take Me Home.

Next, Blink 182 will be releasing Everytime I Look For You, which is one of the tracks on the American Pie 2 soundtrack.

Blink 182 will be at this years MTV Europe music awards which will be on MTV very soon.
