For all of you who read my reviews on a regular basis will know of one of my loves, 2Pac, however this is another love of mine, I do not know exactly what brings me towards these two artists. I guess it is because both artists come from from bad backrounds and there music means something not like the Backstreet Boys or the Spice Girls. Bob Marley died three years before I was even born, this shows you something special, that almost 20 years later Bob Marley is still known, I mean how many of you reading this actually reading this have never heard of Bob Marley, I doubt very many of you if any. But if you take a different artist from 20 years ago, and ... Read the complete review

What can I say about Bob Marley that has not already been said, so I'd thought I'd say what I wanted too in the form of a poem, it is my own work and hope you like it, here it goes:, Bob Marley sang many songs of the Black struggle for freedom, He repeated the Rasta generation whose leaders were but lost, His people held at ransom their cries and protest at a cost, But many years after his death his dreams lived on, His music louder in voice and song. He uplifted broken spirits, With the wisdom of his lyrics, With his chants of 'get up and stand up', His motives were nothing but pure, But he was still ... Read the complete review

Reggae fans gather round, the all time No. 1 Bob Marley and the Wailers album LEGEND is among us. This marvelous compilation gathers together the very best of their music onto one CD . This superb collection of all Bob?s greatest hits highlights his four main influences, love, religion, politics and music. Could this be the greatest album of all time? Well, with hits like No woman no cry, Get up stand up and I shot the sheriff, then you?d be a fool to disagree. The front cover shows Bob with a very relaxed expression on his face and the bold, underlined, capital, gold letters sit above him, LEGEND. On the back is the titles and a brief description of each song and ... Read the complete review

I have always been a fan of Bob Marley, but recently he has become better and better in my views. I have started to appreciate his music and his talent alot more in recent time, this is probably due to the fact that i like to listen to bob marley when i am 'stoned'. This doesn't mean to say i don't like him when i am not 'stoned' oh no its just that music is alot better when 'stoned'. Bob Marley grew up in Trenchtown, Jamacai, which is quite a 'scruffy' low maket place, possbily one of the 'scruffiest' parts of Jamacai. This just shows hoe mush determination and spirit he had though, growing up in a bad area to become the ... Read the complete review

Bob marley wasn't just a musician, or a legend, bob marley is a part of history his music still inspires millions, truly arousing when you listan to exodus or no woman no cry, its from the heart. I wish i had seen him live, but from footage he appears to put everything into every song, you can see his music comes from within, what i call true soul music- my next comment is not meant to be offensive but to many it may be, a large number of rap artists and other musicians fill their lyrics with violence and at provoking violence, bob marley was a peaceful man and when you read his lyrics you can see that, their will never be another bob, is he the black elvis or ...
