I have always been a fan of Bob Marley, but recently he has become better and better in my views. I have started to appreciate his music and his talent alot more in recent time, this is probably due to the fact that i like to listen to bob marley when i am 'stoned'. This doesn't mean to say i don't like him when i am not ... Read the complete review

On may 11th, 1981, more than half of the population of Jamaica gathered in Kingston's National Heroes Stadium to pay their respects on one of Jamaica's most memorable days of mourning. It was the day of the funeral of Robert Nesta Marley who, at the age of 36 had died from cancer of the brain. This homage itself shows what a huge figure ... Read the complete review

This is just a few thoughts on the 20th anniversary of the great man's death. I'm not interested in ratings, it's just personal feelings. I'm a pretty normal, easy going, early middle aged white man. I have no religious beliefs, am not in the least spiritual and generally find those who rabbit on about their particular ... Read the complete review

At the last count Bob Marley had 14 children with several different women. What a GOD. Bob marley has to be one of the greatest musicians of all time. When he was alive he was often refered to as a "virbal newspaper" for the people in the trench towns who couldn't read. Even though Bob had many children with several ... Read the complete review

Ok, first off. Let me get this clear. Legend is, by anyone else's standard, an AMAZING record. Most musicians would give their right arm for just 1 of the songs on Legend. But.....(and please don't hate me for saying this), it isn't nearly close to being his best work. The tracks on Legend where chosen after his death, ... Read the complete review

For all of you who read my reviews on a regular basis will know of one of my loves, 2Pac, however this is another love of mine, I do not know exactly what brings me towards these two artists. I guess it is because both artists come from from bad backrounds and there music means something not like the Backstreet Boys or the Spice Girls. ... Read the complete review

Bob in my eyes is the best reggie artist known to man he is the best although i wasnt alive when he unfortunatly died but his spirit will always live on and so will his great music. His son ziggie marley is a almost replica of the master of reggie himself but i think it will be a long time before he reaches his fathers status. The wailers will ... Read the complete review

Bob Marley...WOW... there is a lot that one can say about this exceptional man. He is definately the father of reggae music. He really found a market and ran with it on this one. In my eyes, reggae didn't exist popularity wise until Mr. Bob Marley took over. This man could sing about anything. He could take those lyrics and put them ... Read the complete review
