Bon Jovi have been around for seemingly yonks, and throughout that time have changed almost beyond recognition from how they first started out. Many people think that "Slippery When Wet" was their first album. Wrong! Agreed, it was the album that made them and brought them out in the public knowledge, but their first album was "7800 farenheit" which is allegedly what good old Jon Bon thought was the melting temperature of rock. I've been to five Bon Jovi concerts, one of which I mangaged to get on stage with the band, other than that one, this concert was by far the best one yet. Performing songs from their recently released album plus all the old favourites they had the crowd warmed up in no time at all. We had brilliant seats right next to the stage and didnt have to use the screens at all. The only bad thing was when they came out on stage the speakers nearest to us didnt work properly but they soon sorted that out and we were able to hear them perfectly. I find it a crime that VH1 puts Bon Jovi only at 78 on their list of 100 Greatest Hard Rock Artists of all time. They've come out on top of the hair band era, survived the grunge era, and to this day is one of the greatest rock bands that still play.
