Bon Jovi has had huge success and will continue to do so because they are adaptable to change. In the 80's they were a hair metal band, but as the years have gone by, they have changed with the times. Bon Jovi has a loyal fan base that has stuck with them through the ups and downs, and the ups again simply because they always give their fans what they want. Great music and everlasting ... Bon Jovi have been around for seemingly yonks, and throughout that time have changed almost beyond recognition from how they first started out. Many people think that "Slippery When Wet" was their first album. Wrong! Agreed, it was the album that made them and brought them out in the public knowledge, but their first album was "7800 farenheit" which is allegedly what good old Jon Bon thought was the melting temperature of rock. The album compared to what they have released in recent years is very raw and almost sounds like a group of lads knocking around in their best mates garage. I've been to five Bon Jovi concerts, one of which I mangaged to get on stage with the band, other than that one, this concert was by far the best one yet. Performing songs from their recently released album plus all the old favourites they had the crowd warmed up in no time at all. We had brilliant seats right next to the stage and didnt have to use the screens at all. The only bad thing was when they came out on stage the speakers nearest to us didnt work properly but they soon sorted that out and we were able to hear them perfectly. I have to say I didnt think much of Jon's gold tracksuit, didnt really do much for him but his last outfit more than made up for ... Read the complete review

Before you get any further, it would probably be useful for you to know that this is an opinion about the official Bon Jovi fan club, Backstage With Jon Bon Jovi! Backstage was founded and is run by Jon's mum, Carol Bongiovi, or Mrs B to the fans, with their local priest, Fr Bob. It is based in New Jersey, and costs $40 per year for non-Americans to join. And if you're interested in joining, details are at the bottom of this opinion. For your money, you will receive four fan club magazines in a year, and these sometimes include collectible freebies such as Bon Jovi plectrums, or promotional postcards. The magazines are professionally ... Read the complete review

I find it a crime that VH1 puts Bon Jovi only at 78 on their list of 100 Greatest Hard Rock Artists of all time. They've come out on top of the hair band era, survived the grunge era, and to this day is one of the greatest rock bands that still play. For the music fans clueless about Bon Jovi, these are the albums they released in this order: Bon Jovi 7800 degrees Farenheit Slippery When Wet New Jersey Keep the Faith Crossroads (compilation album) These Days Crush One Wild Night Live: 1985-2001 (compilation album) Bon Jovi currently consists of singer Jon Bon Jovi, guitarist Richie Sambora, drummer Tico ...
