I must say when i read in the newspapers about Mel C's outburst regarding boyband Westlife, i was gobsmacked. She hit out at them at the Spice girls launch party for their new album, and called them a bunch of talentless w*?!*?! and that they were just a manufactured pop group. Excuse me, but the Spice girls have got to be the biggest disfunctional manufactured girl band of all time and it is disgusting the way she behaved regarding Westlife and certainly didn't set any example to young fans.
Jealousy is a dangerous thing and the spices were shown in their true colours on this occasion - as arrogant people who think they are everything - well it was proved by the music buying public that this isn't so and the Westlife album outsold the Spice girls 3 - 1!
They've had their 15 minutes of fame and should not begrudge others of theirs.
