Disadvantages: The 13 years after that

Bryan Adams used to be a good bloke. From his self-titled debut in 1980 through to 1987s Into The Fire he produced some of the most memorable rock songs aided by fellow Canadian Jim Vallance. His concerts were good humoured rock outs where Bryan and his impressive band really turned up the amps for maximum entertainment. Then it all went wrong when Bryan found Mutt Lange (better known now as puppet Shania Twain's husband). Bryan Admas had become Def Leppard (or was it the other way around) and after spending 30 years at number 1 with that vomit-inducing dirge from that crap film he was everybody's friend.
Big time sellout came next. Crap hairstyles and rubbish songs followed. Rock was replaced with pap as Bryan pandered to the teens and alienated his rock following. A duet with Sting and sad old fart Rod Stewart producved an extremely predictable load of tosh. A duet with a Spice Bimbo further obliterated his rock credibility and the final nail in the coffin was that godawful Chicane song. But Bryan's okay, he's rolling in dosh and the view from up his own arse must be good because he's stuck a long way up it.
Once upon a time he rocked but now he's just a big time pop poseur who's originality is all but flushed down the pan. An embarrassment.
