I recently attended one of Kylie's concerts at the O2 Arena in London as part of her X tour. She was absolutely fantastic. She sings and dances amazingly and the whole show was breathtaking. There is something about her presence and her personality that just oozes charisma and charm.

In my opinion, Kylie Minogue just keeps getting better. Each time she brings out a new album, we see a different side to the Australian singer, she has gone through many changes over the years and tried out many different images, some which have worked, and other which didn't suit her so well, but to keep re-inventing herself like this keeps her fresh and exciting and means that people don't get fed up of seeing and hearing the same thing. The only other artist that has been re-inventing herself in this way since the beginning of her pop career, is Madonna who is another pop legend, and probably because of this reason. They both keep coming out with new ideas and new ways to entertain their fans.

It is for this reason, that of course Kylie Minogue can still cut it. She is an amazing live performer, has hit after hit single and album, and she's not afraid to try something new. I have been a fan since I was 12 years old and she first appeared with her first UK single "I should be so lucky". I have grown with her and seen her tackle many different styles of music, but still staying true to pop. I am now 33 and I would say that I am an even bigger fan now than I was back then. At the recent concert, there were people of all ages, including young children singing along to all the songs, which goes to show that she is attracting new fans all the time. People don't really care how old someone is, if they can perform with as much charisma as Kylie then they will go a long way for a long time.

Kylie Minogue is 40 years old, and she still appears youthful and sexy and so full of energy. She is passionate about her career and has battled against cancer, coming through it and still bringing us everything that we have come to expect from the pint sized pop princess and more. I will always be a fan as she keeps bringing us great music, videos, shows and a great look which is constantly changing. Kylie Minogue has proved her place as one of pops leading ladies and will continue to hold this position for many years to come.

Summary: A fantastic career spanning 20 years and many more to come.
