Advantages: Quality Venue, Capdown? Need I say more?, Got an autographed shirt! Disadvantages: Small Venue, Hot very hot, Gets too violent at times, but that sounds wussy.
In my opinion Capdown are one of the best UK ska punk (ska-core) bands, if not the best. After seeing them again at Hitchin Club 85, in an impressive, but short set, where they played new songs, one named "ponce" by a member of the audience I can only say i was very impressed. Again. The support bands consisted of one called Battle Ska, who were good to listen to (no lyrics tho) but my friends Marc, Jaz, Brett and Emily were the only ones skanking near the end of the set which someone said was "elevator music". The other support band, Mr Zippy, were ok, and good to sit and bop your head to, but no where near as good as the headliners. Summary: |
