I was lucky enough to be one of the 1300 people at the Renaissance birthday party just a couple of weeks ago. The highlight of the night, without a doubt was the performance of Carl Cox. The mans a legend. He played a faultless set of progressive trance and techno, mixing it up with his customary three deck wizardry, the crowd didn't know what had hit them! As well as being a top jock he also seems to be a top bloke into the bargain, every time I looked up at the DJ booth he had the biggest grin on his face, shaking anyone near enough by the hand and punching the air to the beat. If this set was anything to go by he is worth any lengths to see, I shall cetainly be following him around like a mental stalker...
