Since writing reviews is my hobby, I tend to consider music that I enjoy. Today, I am experimenting. The reason for this experimentation is because I listen to music much differently when I am critiquing (rather than listening) and was curious about Celine Dion's results, since she is my least favorite active and popular performing artist. For ten years, I have heard her performances on radio, when call a business and waiting for a transfer while on hold, in restaurants and grocery stores (among other settings). My ear canals have been frequently abused and its unavoidable. Dion's distinguishable caterwaul is unbearable to me. Specifically, when she ... Read the complete review

I guess Celine Dion has a voice that you will love or hate and most people form their opinion very quickly! I think that she has the best female voice on the planet and as such love listening to her sing almost anything. Her latest and possibly final release is "All The Way:A Decade Of Song" which combines her greatest hits with seven new tracks. I have mixed feelings on greatest hits albums. All too often they are churned out by artists keen to make an easy buck from fans that will already have all or most of the material on different CD's. To my mind the greatest hits releases are a way of targeting new fans while the loyal fans will ... Read the complete review

Celine Dion has a beautiful voice. She has a lot of strength, power and talent in singing. This album highlights the best moments of her career in the last decade. The album has nine of her greatest hits and seven brand new tracks including the hit single "That's The Way It Is". The nine greatest hits include her duet with R. Kelly "I'm Your Angel", "Immortality" sung with the BeeGees, "Because You Loved Me" from Up Close And Personal, and "My Heart Will Go On" from the blockbuster Titanic, along with "Beauty And The Beast". Her version of "The Power Of Love" originally by Jennifer ... Read the complete review

I'm a huge fan of Celine Dion and love this album of hers, I’d say it’s the best album she has done so far. This album contains 9 of her greatest hits and 7 brand new tracks so 16 tracks in total on this album, it cost £12.99 so not badly priced for 16 tracks. Celine Dion's music would come under Easy Listening as most of her music is love songs and very slow. I think Celine Dion's verison of 'The Power Of Love' is more emotional than Jennifer Rush's as Celine Dion has powerful vocals. The Power Of Love is the first track on this album, which is a superb way to start the album. The Power Of Love is one of ... Read the complete review

I am beginning to feel that I am in a minority. My musical tastes are very varied and I admit to being a fan of Celine Dion. ALL THE WAY...A DECADE OF SONG This was the last release from Celine before she decided to have time away from the music industry in order to spend time with her husband Rene who had been diagnosed with throat cancer, and in her time away she has also become a mother to a baby boy after a long time trying. The CD covers the highlights of Celine's career, and also gives us a few new tracks just to keep us keen. A selection of the songs: THE POWER OF LOVE Originally recorded by Jennifer Rush, and this ... Read the complete review
