Why does Celine Dion attract so much critisicm? (Celine Dion in general)

Well, for a start I think Celine Dion's great. She has such a sweet but strong voice, apart from being a great entertainer on stage. Unfortunately I haven't been to see her in Concert but I have watched her Concerts on VH1 and I have been amazed by how much energy and charisma she has. I wouldn't mind some if she has some spare (energy that is, hopefully I have a bit of charisma!!) I only have two of her albums and they are great for listening to when you want to chill out of an evening. Why do so many people knock her? Is it jealousy, although these people would be sure to say 'I don't think so' sarcastically. No one else will ever be able to sing 'My Heart Will Go On' in the same way as she does. I think she has a sweet personality too, there's no prima donna attitude about her and she obviously adores her husband Rene to bits. I just hope that when she has had this break of a couple of years, she comes back again; obviously she will be a Mother by then and I suppose not able to do the rounds in Concerts for a while but hopefully she will release a couple of songs. Long may her songs be sung!
