Clannad in general

The first Clannad title that l heard was more years ago than l care to remember. That was 'Robin the hooded man'. The only reason that l knew it was Clannad was from the TV programme, Robin of Sherwood. On the strength of that l bought Sirius and have since bought several more of their CD's. The music is very relaxing (almost hypnotically so) and is the type that you can listen to, over and over again without it becoming boring. My only complaint with the group is that they have a bad habit of repeating the same titles on different CD's. Clannad is a group who compose and play their very own type of folk songs. Their songs is really special and easy listening. I suppose is good for folk songs beginners. Their work has something very unique from other groups, and also some uniqueness among their own work! This is amazing. If you like to try, I would suggest you to buy Clannad Lore. This album come with a bonus CD featuring some of their best previous music. The Lore itself is very impressive.
