Unfortunatly all the compalation CDs i have bought in the past have contained 1-2 songs that i really like and then 20 odd that are absolutly terrible. I have however found a really good poppy type cd compalation that is really good to play in the garden on a lazy sunday afternoon although not usually my cup of tea The Best Dance Album In ...

compilations can be greatof course!) which have some of the harder to get songs and sound great when you listen to it at once. Also when buying compilations you may be introduced to previously unknown songs that you fall in love with. Its a great way to learn about different groups. Also advantages of getting compilations are that you ...

Well boys and gals, the summer season is upon us and we welcome back Ibiza and Ayia Napa for yet another season of dance music bliss!! We also welcome back the return of all those dodgy compliations "Ibiza Series 3", "The Sound Of Ibiza", "This What I Call Ibiza 48" "Ayia Napa - The ...

It seems that people are split down the middle on whether compilations are worth the money. Some people like to get all the latest hits on a couple of CD's, whilst others much prefer to buy the artists individual albums. Pluses: • Well you don't have to buy all those one hit wonders albums where all the album bar ...

I can't stress how much I was looking forward to getting hold of this CD . Both of the previous Y2/3K collections have been absolutley blinding ( the first with some wicked laid back beats to chill to , the second with more upbeat classic reworks and full on deep progressive tunes ) . With so many good breakbeat tunes about at the moment Y4K ...

I couldn't contain our excitement when worldpop released Cam Del Mar in September. Following on from one the most popular album i have ever purchased had ever shown this was a fine collection of chill out summer tunes. Mixed by worldpop's dance editor Rob da Bank, it was not only packed with Balearic beauties and mellow classics ...

...A Techno smorgasbord Thumping, pulsing and free flowing, Wipeout 2097: The Soundtrack is a collection of big names (along with some you may well not have heard of) with tracks ranging from drum 'n' bass, ambient through to frenetic hyper dance, all grouped together under the heading "electronica". Confused? I thought ...

I am a great fan of the 80s music! Whilst watching qvc the shopping channel I came across the greatest hits of the 80s box set.I couldnt believe my luck when they gave out the details as you get 8 cds which is 128 tracks for a great price of only £21.99 and £2.95 postage and packing. These great hits are worth every penny and include... ...

We bought this CD today and wow how corny! lol - Ranging from Kylie Minogues "I should be so lucky", Jason Donovans "Too many broken hearts" and Rick Astley "Never gonna give you up" to Bananarama "Venus" and allsorts! Its a great CD for reminding you of all the songs you used to listen too but nice to ...

Through the eyes is a follow-up to V Classics and Planet V I suppose, and features the same artists, Krust, Die, Roni etc. V/Full Cycle albums have always been hard hitting and funky, this one is no exception. If you've bought any Full Cycle vinyl lately, you'll have some tracks, but the 2CD's come one separate, the other a mix ...

The cool sound of the 70's is a double album released in September 2000, and contains 38 tracks from that 'cool' seventies era. Some of the tracks are a little bit cheesy - for instance, you've got Brotherhood of man with save all your kisses for me, but don't let this put you off! I think this will be a great album for ...

Forever is my ultimate relax and chill CD. From the cover it looks like a bargain basement, poorly put together compilation CD, wrong! It is a mix of beautiful, well known love songs, but not all are ballads. A selection of the tracks are: Hazard by Richard Marx is a rock ballad, and tells a great story about a man who was wrongly accused ...

Nutty Professor II: The Klumps Soundtrack is one of the best compilation albums to get hold of. It is more R'n'B then Hip Hop (not like the Romeo Must Die soundtrack), and features: > Janet Jackson > Jay-Z > Musiq > Case > Method Man > DMX > Brian McKnight > Dru Hill presents Jazz > Kandice Love > ...

Rising above the quagmire of ten-a-penny Ibiza compilations, this mix is a sophisticated, laid back celebration of real house music. In turn soulful, hypnotic and subtly uplifiting, Farley and Heller guide your body and soul through all that is good about modern dance, and they never miss a beat. Whether you play it in the car as you ...

Marquee Metal Various This album is apparently intended to ’highlight the world famous club’s dedication to the past, present and future of rock and roll’ With artists such as Queen, Thin Lizzy, Deep Purple, Jimi Hendrix and Status Quo, it certainly does what it says. However, both the artists and the tracks ...

All my CD's are beginning to get out of date now, so I needed to update my music collection. My mate had bought a wicked CD compilation the previous day, so I borrowed it and it's excellent! It's called 'The Artful Dodger Presents Re-Wind Back By Public Demand' and it has exclusive tracks and remixes by The artful ...

This album has collected all of the greatest blues classics onto a double CD. With hits from the likes of Muddy Waters, Howlin? Wolf, Memphis Slim, Lightin?? Hopkins, Jimmy Reed, Lightning Slim and of course John Lee Hooker, this album was always destined for success. I fail to see how Blues has been so understated in recent years, I?ve always ...

The ‘Now that’s what I call music’ series has been going for sometime now and is basically a compilation of all the biggest hits over the past few months, about 40 to be precise. Most commonly they are bought on CD but they do still do the cassette version and I would think they sell it on minidisc now. For me there ...

As a general note on all Compalation CD's all the good (well best known) songs appear on Disc 1. I often wonder why Disc 2 is there sometimes. I dont say that the songs on Disc 2 are no good because that would be unfair and its simply a matter of taste but they do tend to leave the hit songs on the first disc. How many of you buy ...

This album features the songs in the movie Waking Ned which is set in Ireland, thus the music is of Irish influence. The soundtrack is instumental with the exception of one song, Fisherman's Blues by The Waterboys. The score for the movie was composed by Shaun Davey. As I have seen the movie, which was really good, the music has so ...
