I bet you didn't know Cyndi Lauper had released a Christmas album, did you? Well, it was actually released a couple of years ago, but for some reason it was very low key. You might expect it to be a novelty album, and yes there are a couple of tracks that are in that category: "Minnie and Santa" is definitely a bit of fun, probably even a naughty bit of fun, and "Christmas Conga" sounds uncomfortably like Black Lace - but hey, they're both excellent partying songs, and isn't that what Christmas is all about?
