Everyone from Radiohead to Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland to Kid 606, have recently claimed that they have been influenced by Richard. D James. In the past few years, the man's profile seems to have rocketed skywards, especially in the States where the burgeoning IDM (Intelligent Dance Music) scene, has taken him as their father-figure somewhat. DJ EZ is probably one of the most recognised names on the whole British music scene and he deserves this. DJ EZ has been DJing for 11 years. He started off as a DJ on two UK Garage pirate stations in London. He was a resident DJ on Freek FM and Dance FM. Since then he has just got bigger and bigger. Many people will say that he is overrated, but many more people will say that he is the best UK Garage DJ around at the moment. EZ in general ... was looking at the list of the DJ’s on this site and I must say that I was shocked that there was not many garage DJ’s but then I saw EZ. Well EZ is doing great at the moment, he has his pure garage mix CD’s out and this is now his forth CD currently out. He also has a set on Kiss FM on Saturdays. He is fully booked to DJ at clubs for the next two years. He is on about £300 per hour, and he makes triple that at Xmas and New Years Eve.
