Counrtney Taylor Taylor's voice seems to change with all the songs - a strange voice in 'Shakin' that with dismay I first thought sounded like Elvis, but then realised otherwise, and then softer vocals in songs like 'Godless'. This album makes me feel really nostalgic, as if they come from somewhere I've been in the past (The name Amsterdam comes to mind!). My favourite track has got to be 'Bohemian like you', it's a catchy sort of love song which contrasts with the beauty of songs ...more

This album isn't like anything I have heard before. It sounds as if maybe they have been caught up in a strange 70's ish timewarp - but they are good! The one exception on this album being the last song 'The Gospel' which is annoyingly countryish, and the start of 'Country Leaver'.
