Without sounding too cliche, De La Soul are one of the greatest hip hop groups of all time. Their combination of old school and new school beats mean they have continued to make good music throughout their 12+ year carreer. I was disappointed with their two latest additions (the Art Offical Intelligence) albums considering they managed to produce one of hip hop's finest albums ever in 'Stakes is High'. If you havent heard any/little De La Soul then you should pick up this album. It is one of 2 albums I own (I have an extensive hip hop collection) that I can listen to without having to skip a track (the other being Midnight Marauders by Tribe Called ...
