This is something of an "I Told You So, or rather an "You Heard it Here First" type of opinion. On 04:07:2000 I wrote my original opinion about Diane Warren, who I believed -and still believe to be probably the finest songwriter ever. Her talent and tremendous across-the-board appeal in unparalleled in this century or the last. Well, not that I want to blow my own trumpet, but I will anyway . . . my opinion received massive support last Saturday night, on BBC 2 Television, when, just after the CMTV awards (AH - HEAVEN) there was an entire programme about Diane and her music.
