DJ Luck and MC Neat are one of my favourite acts at the moment, Luck churns out the tune with neat adding his special touch. Seeing as neither of them are particularly good singers (as far as I know anyway), they seem to have taken on JJ, he has appeared on Masterblaster 2000 and Aint No Stopping Us and will probably appear on more. He gives Luck and Neat a new dimension, and if you look at the difference between "Little Bit of Luck" and "Aint No Stopping Us" you'll see what I mean. ... Read the complete review

Hmm, I loved Aint no stopping us by Luck and Neat I can remember hearing that last song by norris da boss windross at the end of his set at bagleys every weekend! Anyway, I have heard these two live on a few occasions and I think Neat is one of the true garage mc's. He brings a style all of his own, not all this borrowed, immitation crap like most other mc's nowadays. I especially like the new song Piano Loco although its starting to get rinsed now its commercial. As for Luck, well, I think he is a great producer but not so great dj, his mixing skills don't come across so much as say mike ruffcut or jason kaye and he has a tendency ... Read the complete review

After listening to many UK Garage acts, I find some really good and interesting and some like a feeble attempt at Garage, thankfully - DJ Luck and MC Neat are the good ones, excellent in fact! So, with releases like "A little bit of luck" which I find a little poor compared to their newer ones, and then "Masterblaster 2000" and moving on to "Ain't no stopping us" they are definately going strong! I find that Luck and Neat combine excellently with DJ Luck laying doen the beats and MC Neat going at it with his unique freestyle Mc'ing. I think these guys will go further and hope so too - a very good combination ... Read the complete review

DJ Luck, MC Neat and The Artful Dodger have destroyed garage music. They have opened it up to the public allowing it to become too commercial so they can fill up their greedy pockets. Don't get me wrong, Garage is an amazing sound which deserves to be given full credit however, it is slowly being killed by the likes of those mentioned above. Garage was a soulful, uplifting, funky music and these days it is being converted into party cheese such as the likes of Bound 4 da Reload. Due to this Garage is running out of steam and believe me it won't be long before it disappears from the public eye and returns back undergroung where it belongs. My only hope for now is ... Right, firstly I'd like to state that I really dislike 90% of UK Garage. I think it's purile, girly music with absolutely no talent and a sound which could be reproduced with a £10 keyboard from Argos. DJ Luck & MC Neat are a perfect example of the current sound of UK Garage: cheesy sound effects and repetitive drum patterns which sound the same as every other UK Garage record. I really dislike this sound. However, anyone who likes the current crop of UK Garage, the Artful Dodger for example, will enjoy their work. I like US style Garage which has roots closer to house - it's far more classy and much less cheesy and has a much more defined, ... Read the complete review
