David Morales in general ... for Best Remixer of the year, a title that had been worthy of the man for many years previous. What I best remember him for are his excellent Ministry of Sound Session CD releases. This is a mix of some of his best tunes that he was mixing in 1999 and in my mind os one of the finest dance CD's ever released. He has worked on several other compilations but this is the best. His styles are a mix of Pop, Catchy tunes, Stomping beats and American soul to create a great vibe and flavour for the Balearic market. EZ in general ... DJ EZ is probably one of the most recognised names on the whole British music scene and he deserves this. DJ EZ has been DJing for 11 years. He started off as a DJ on two UK Garage pirate stations in London. He was a resident DJ on Freek FM and Dance FM. Since then he has just got bigger and bigger. Many people will say that he is overrated, but many more people will say that he is the best UK Garage DJ around at the moment. Voted 97th best DJ in the worl might not sound much, but when you consider that the only previous Garage DJ in the Top 100 was Tuff Jam, it's something to be very proud of. EZ in general ... FM on Saturdays. He is fully booked to DJ at clubs for the next two years. He is on about £300 per hour, and he makes triple that at Xmas and New Years Eve. ( I know as my partner is a garage DJ also) I am lucky enough to hear EZ live every six weeks, when he plays at a club night called “sweet harmony” at Eros nightclub in London and this event is always ram packed with EZ fans. The best thing I like about EZ is that he can mix a tune; nowadays you can’t really find a good DJ that will play a good set and mix the tunes.
