I first encountered this band whilst watching some program on bbc2. They were playing Army of Two and i was sold. They are energetic and amusing. The lyrics for Army of Two often make me smile as they are very positive even though they have an almost sad outlook. I began downloading more and more of their music and was never let down. I have downloaded eleven of their songs. unfortunately they seemed to have lost their instruments in traffic - plus i hate their music anyway - Advantages: they play instruments - Disadvantages: they lost their instruments

When i came across the Dum dums, my first thoughts were, who? Believe it or not they have released three singles, can't get you out of my thoughts, you do something to me and their more recent, army of two. I first found the Dum dums in a deserted drawer in my sisters bedroom, it was their first single can't get you out of my thoughts. I listened to it straight away and loved it. I don't usually go for the indie/pop sort of music, where pop dominates the general sound. They write their own music and lyrics and play their own instruments. Does this make them an indie band?
