There was a time when Elton John was a pretty essential artist in the rock and roll scene. All tracks are taken from a concert at Madison Square Garden, New York in October 2000. The cover of the CD shows a man who, thanks to the ...

Elton John, what has happened to him? I don't know whether to laugh or cry when I see him. Here is a man who has been responsible for some of the finest and most entertaining albums of the last 30 years but who is now, seemingly, a sad old man who is camp beyond belief! Of course, everyone who's anyone is a big mate of Elton. I mean, fellow has-been George Michael and future has-beens The Spice Slappers are all big buddies and I reckon they all swap stories about how wonderful their 'Audience With' programmes were and how they were totally NOT contrived and scripted. Yeah, right - we believe you. Not! Captain Fantastic and The Browndirt ...
