Advantages: Inspirational to all and great music.

Disadvantages: He has been involved with things he shouldn't have been.

Having seen Eric Clapton a few times now including at the Royal Albert Hall I really have felt inspired by his music. From humble beginnings Eric Clapton really has produced the finest of music and is seen by many to be one of the greatest guitar players. Eric Clapton is a blues guitarist, singer and a songwriter. He has formed his own band Cream and has also been a member of The Yardbirds. He is now 65 and still plays music professionally and being an inspiration to many.

I really like how he writes songs according to life experiences, for example Cocaine was a song describing how he had previously had an addiction to Cocaine. There is also the very famous song Tears in Heaven which as I'm sure you know was written in honour of his son Connor Clapton having died from a horrific accident. I really admire his courage from these incidences to still be able to carry on writing music and pull himself through. I think he deserves everything he has and that he has really worked hard for it.

Eric Clapton has released many albums in his time with many containing tops hits. Another interesting fact about Eric Clapton was that he was brought up to think that his Grandparents were his parents. He has suffered from a divorce and has still managed to pull himself through and write inspirational music for many to enjoy. I hope this was useful and thank you very much for reading!
