I have seen them a few times live and find the mix of conscious rap, dj'ing and live music brilliant, Sister Bliss is brilliant at setting the tone with some thumping beats, Maxi Jazz is energetic and incredibly wise in his role as front man, his lyrics are amazing, with Muhammed Ali and Weapons of Mass Destruction standing out as great songs. The band put in a great shift and allow some funky interludes, the songs themselves are fun and great to dance to, Salva Mea and Insomnia are thumping danc...more

Premium Review Faithless in general: No Roots - Faithless (753 words)

Faithless are very much associated with making classic clubbing anthems such as 'Insomnia', 'God Is A DJ', 'Salva Mea' and 'Take The Long Way Home'. These songs are still heavily played in clubland and will remain so for the forseeable future. This is the fourth release from Faithless, the follow up to their album Reverence, released last year. This album is looking to eclipse the poor showing of Reverence and I think it will do that with some ease. Faithless have once again found a balance, which has had some good results. The first single to be lifted from the album, Mass Destruction, is a shift away from the traditional dance ...  Read the complete review

I've been feeling a bit down lately. I haven't really laughed for a bit. But last night, I found my mouth naturally forming a big SMILE, all by itself, not forced or fake, but because it wanted to be there. So what put a smile on my face? Well, I went to see the band that I have been wanting to see live since I was 14, which feels like a long time ago to me! I first heard Faithless when they brought out the huge club tune Insomnia. I longed to go out clubbing and remember sleeping over at my friends house and listening to Insomnia over and over again and imagining how amazing it must be. I even included Insomnia in my top ten singles opinion ...  Read the complete review

It’s a really hot day where I live, and I have been lying about all day, so I thought I’d get something done – even if an opinion is all I can muster. I really don’t know why, but here’s a quick opinion on Faithless seeing as the latest song ‘We Come One’ has just been on television! I really think they have a great talent, and although I don’t know the ins and outs of the group, I feel they have a really unique sound and a superb dance style reputation. I remember watching God is a DJ on something, and that song was very good indeed – one of their best, and I really should get one of their albums! Drifting ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Superb (92 words)

Faithless are one of the all time greats of their chosen genre, as an alternative style of dance they excelled them selves with the release of Reverence / Irreverence, although most people only know the track Insomnia, any true fan of Faithless will tell you that is far from the best track on the album. Salva Mea is one of my favourites. Then came the release of Sunday 8pm, this would have to live up to so much and in my opinion it did. It is another superb album by a superb group. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Faithless in general: I cant get no sleep! (166 words)

Possible one of the biggest dance anthems over the last few years, Faithless are a highly underrated musical talent, both live and in the studio. I only have one album but it is ace! It has a real different mix of music on it. Not just hadr pumping tunes but some softer, ambient types too. I have seen them live and they are one of the best acts I have seen live! They are great performers and carry their music from studio to live production faultlessly. Insomnia is a track that everyone has heard of. Everyone knows how the tune goes. It really lifts you up when you are listening and at the same time it is quite a moody track. If you want to listen to an ...  Read the complete review
