Fear Factory are one of the most original and distinctive bands of the metal genre. Specificly they would be classed as an Industrial/Death Metal band who fighting the man versus machine war with their music.

try not to be put off by the fact that they cna be described as death metal. They do not tell people to kill themselves and they are not a band only liked by a bunch of goths. They are just a very heavy original band.

The best albulms are probably obsolete and demanufacture..i havnt got their latest one yet but from what they have done before i can bet that it will be an astounding albulm. i have seen their new video linch pin however and that is a fantatstic song so if i was you and you liked rock/metal i would go by some of their albulms.
