Gang Starr have built massive respect over the years. Their official unveiling to the world with No More Mr. Nice Guy (1989), but probably you're more familiar with their updated style on Moment of Truth (1998), it's hard to deny that Gangstarr is one of the most resourceful forces in Hiphop. With the album, Step Into The Arena which was a great success, it didn't cause them to lose their underground attitude or become commercial. But it's likely your more familiar with Guru's Jazzmatazz, the Jazzmatazz series, which currently holds three albums under it's belt, is known for combining old school Jazz flavor with new school R&B style.
