Advantages: Originality, Different styles within each album

Disadvantages: Bit depressing, Not to everyones taste

Garbage - with their depressive songs you would think that they would have fallen into obscurity perhaps - quite the opposite! They are one of the best rated bands with a large fan base. Releasing hit singles such as Only Happy When It Rains, When I Grow Up and Milk, they have shot to the top end of the charts time and again. With two brilliant albums to their name - Garbage and Version 2.0 - and the brilliant vocals of Scottish-born Shirley Manson, they are well worth a listen to - even if it is not he sort of music you usually like, as there is such a diversity of style within the albums with some slow song and some fast and loud. The B-sides to some of the singles are sometimes better than the A-side (in my opinion!) and so you may find something you like there. So go ahead, go and buy a single today, you may be hooked for life!
