Hi, this my first ever review on dooyoo.co.uk so pleeeeeeease give it a good rating. I need the emotional support.

Gareth Gates is a hero where I live. Yes, you guessed it, I live in Bradford, the home place of the one TRUE pop idol. Wherever Gareth goes he has 100?s of teenage girls (and the odd boy) chasing him for his autograph.

Gareth first came to our screens in the phenomenon that came to be known as pop idol. He stole the nations hearts with his angelic voice and spiky hair. He had also had a traumatic child hood where he was bullied because of his stutter, which gets worse when Gareth gets nervous. He, of course, progressed through the audition stages and into the final 10 and gave top class performances live in front of 10 million viewers every Saturday.

When it got down to the final though, a banana-chinned freak named Will knocked out Gareth. I personally, along with masses of other people who tried to vote for Gareth all night, think that the voting was fixed in Will?s favour. Did you know that the makers of pop idol made the final 10 sign a contact saying that whatever they made in the next 15 years, pop idol get 20%? I think that they knew Gareth would make masses of money and Will would only make loads if he won PI. Thus, they got their plan to let Will Young win Pop Idol.

It doesn?t really matter that Gareth lost in the final of Pop Idol because he will go on to be a superstar anyway while Will will just go on to do cheesy adverts for Iron Bru.

Bekki?s Predictions:

2002: Gareth and Will both get number 1 singles and albums while both sell out huge arenas all around the country in there tour of Britain

2003: Will admits that he is Gay and is all over the front pages of the national newspapers after it comes out that he DOES have a banana stuck in his chin from an accident from his childhood days. Gareth makes a new album, which goes triple platinum in over 20 countries around the world.


2004: Rumours that Will?s new album sounds as bad as Will Looks are true and it fails to get into the top 10 album charts. Gareth is named Mayor of Bradford and they re-name the Alhambra (a theatre in Bradford) after him.

2005: Will loses his record deal and wastes all his money on buying people to say that he is good. This is uncover by the media and the whole nation laughs at him. Gareth releases another new album and also announces plans to marry, pop idol final tenner, Zoe Burkett. Plans are also announced that he is to set up his own ?Gareth Gates? party that will run for prime minister.

2006: Will becomes a tramp living on the streets begging for spare change of some of his old CD?s to keep him happy. Now all he needs is a CD player?. Gareth wins the General election and becomes prime minister of Britain after getting 99.9% of the vote.

2010: After a happy period in office and a few number 1 records, Gareth announces plans to quit politics and concentrate solely on his musical career. Will finds a poster of himself where he was on pop idol and uses it as a blanket for the next year.

2012: Will appears on one of those ?I love 2002? programs that are often on Sky One saying that he still is the best singer in Britain. The program gets less than 50 viewers worldwide. Pop Idol 2 comes out for the 10 anniversary of the first one. Since Doctor Fox has turned into an ego maniac and demanding that he get 5 million an episode, Gareth takes over as a judge being Harsh but fair. One of Gareth?s Relations wins, Danny Niccles (sorry if I got his name wrong. And I know the boy!). They team up and do an album of duets.

2015: Sorry my psychic powers cannot see that far into the future but It will soon be here.
