After seeing Goldfinger at the Garage on May 13th I can only say WOW! I had gone with 4 of my mates, and we were all fans, but after this brilliant performance in such a small venue, they have established my support as one of the top punk bands. Not your wussy Sum 41, Blink 182 and so on pop-punk bands, but a true hardcore punk spirit lives inside Goldfinger. The set kicked off with their new song "Open Your Eyes" from the new album of the same name, which got everyone singing. Goldfingers brief history. Formed in 1994, with orginal members John and Simon, who asked Darrin to drum for them. While this was happening Goldfingers orginal guitarist left to become a pro suffer but Charlie a friend of John jioned. Goldfingers first LP was called 'richer' which was released in 1995. their first single was 'here in your bedroom' and later 'marles' and 'only a day was released, which were a huge sucess.
