... 'mmmbop' After appearing at wembley in june 1999 they disappeared. Hanson were a very poppy band who released 4 albums one of which was an album full of christmas songs. Hanson reappeared to the charts at the end of 2000, but with a difference. No longer were they a pop band but returned with an indie edge to them. Appealing to the audience they once had that had grown out of pop. Unfortunetely they were haunted by there past. The people who would have liked their new music refused to accept it as it w...more

Hanson released various songs including 'Where's the love?' and 'weird' but none were as popular as 'mmmbop' After appearing at wembley in june 1999 they disappeared. I think the main reason is that, unlike nearly every single pop group, they actually have talent. Their music has a feel good vibe which is present in bands such as Blink 182 and to a certain extent Stereophonics. A couple of brothers who love to just play their instruments and have fun have gained my respect. Their songs are happy, have a good tune and should not be taken to seriously. I'm waiting to hear their new material and hope it will be as good as their previous album, after ...
