Happy Mondays almost made it to be the best band in the world!. There is ample evidence to say that Happy Mondays were the greatest rock n roll band ever. Or at least they were pretty damn close. Happy Mondays led by former poet Shaun Ryder, formed in 1984, but were not recognised until later in 1990 when they came on the Manchester scene . Along with their huge success came along a huge amount of money, which the band promptly spent on drugs.
