Advantages: Pure ANd Simple was their best song maybe Lovin is easy

Disadvantages: they dont like each other do they?

Hearsay are the first example in the UK, of any show like Pop Id.. producing Will Young and Michelle Mcmanus, Popstars Rivals producing Girls Aloud, X Factor has produced a couple of megastars in Shayne, Leona and Leon and i have a good enough opinion on Hearsay to talk about them. They are quite an odd band i have to say though, they're not very like each other apart from all being a bit chubby! and being around the same age. I thought they always looked quite unconfrtable with each other and where in quite a daze being told what to do and where to go etc

The band is made up of several peeps - Kym the star of the show, she has done well beyond the band with a solo career for a while, some tv presenting and now a tv role in ITV's coronation street. Myleene has done equally as well in I'm a Celeb show and lots of adverts and TV presenting work. Suzanne won Dancing On Ice so reality tv is in these peoples blood lol. Danny and Noel have done some panto work as well.

I think the band where good in their heyday, they got lots of benefit from being choosen apart from quite a nasty backlash from the UK and a failed relaunch left after Kym left for ''her kids''. They had some good songs, mainly their singles ;) and their albums did quite well. Their relaunch didnt go so smoothly but why would it? the UK have shown a lot of love for Girls Aloud because they are modern, different, fun and have produced constantly brillant songs - i can't say the same for Hearsay, their first record was a smash but from then on i liked Lovin Is Easy, Bridge Over Troubled Water was alright, Everybody was good, The Way To Your Love. Apart from one or two i can't recall any of the songs from their albums - they are best with there singles. Maybe if Kym hadn't left they would have got some more years but in 2000's they would never work because they would be shown to be too manufactured. It's obvious the band themselves where thrown into a frenzy, the first of the reality tv type show and they have done well indvidually mainly Suzanne, Myleene and Kym and the band gave them platforms and tv and music related oppurtunities that they wouldn't have without it.

They where a good band and who knows a reform is plausable i suppose, it'd be wierd though right but so interesting...with some good songs they could work again???.....who am i kidding they did good to make the money did, keep their minutes of fame and milk their oppurtunites for all they where worth. They bit the dust years after, and i personally think they're alright y'know?

Summary: Debut record by Hearsay
