Advantages: a bit of talent

Disadvantages: sucky songs, miming, manufactured

Phew! Glad it's over! Hear'Say's destruction that is. While clean-cut, nice and swear-proof, we've got to the point where they're being FORCED not to get boyfriends or be photographed with them.

Their image was manufactured, now it's controlled. Their look was manufactured, now it's control. They might be able to sing, but not dance. While the _talent_ MIGHT be there, they're still miming and they're manufactured into idols.

A complete transformation.

From normal hopefuls to smug, happy twenty-somethings appearing on GMTV, with thousands of admirers. People who have VERY CLOSE skill to these guys, who just fell out on the final, aren't even noticed.

Just because they've been put in a band, means everybody loves them. But that's not enough, there are plenty of bands out there. They're on TV, though. That makes them idols to worship.

Just because they're on TV?

And Smash Hits, TOTP and more. Worthless, without the work everyone else puts into their band, more manufactured than processed cheese, and they get no 1's. The world truly has become pathetic. They don't deserve anything, any worship, any money for their greedy pockets.

May they be forgotten soon if not already!
