Advantages: This is terrible, I can't think of any

I never actually watched Popstars. It seemed that I always remembered to switch the TV on as it was just finishing, so in the end I gave up.

When I saw the final five in action as Hear'Say, I wasn't overly excited. 'Pure and Simple' didn't do an awful lot for me. I listened then to their second single 'Way to your love.' Mmmm, a bit better, I found myself humming along to that one occasionally. But still nothing grips me about them. I know they are a manufactured band, but this really has nothing to do with my views. I think one reason is that I'm not that impressed when they sing live! Yes, I know they are brave to do that all the time, when many other bands/singers can't be bothered, or just don't have any talent, but although I think a couple of the group have nice singing voices, the other 3 grate on me.


I think that Kym has the best voice; It is quite a rich voice and she would probably be better singing on her own. Myleene to me has a so-so voice. I don't like Suzanne's voice at all as I find it very weak, and she also anoys me as I think she is quite a show-off. Danny's voice, although not bad, doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the band and I cringe every time I hear it. Noel's voice is OK I suppose. Yes, I know it sounds like I'm moaning about them all, but I really don't think their voices go together in one band. I would rather hear just Kym singing solo as I think there is some scope for her to go far on her own. Having said that, they are not doing too badly as a group so maybe I should just keep my opinions to myself eh!
