Popstars, the show the nation was glue to the tv watching. It was the show that ran auditions to start up a new pop group. The judges loved some of the group as soon as they met them. The final 5 that made the group were Noel, Mylene, Kym, Danny and Suzanne.
As soon as their first single Pure & Simple was released everyone new it was a sure hit, but some comments were made from people saying it was only because of the show and afterwards they'd be nothing.
The first single got to number1 as was predicted but then the second single Show Me The Way To Your Love also got to number1 after the Popstars craze was over. Hear'say felt that had proved all those comments to be wrong. After the single Pure & Simple an album was released, that was also a hit in the album charts. I think the album is good and better than I'd expected it to be, although only one or two songs were written by them the rest werent, the album was finished in a week. I thought that only a week to make an album was a bit rushed and I thought it would be rubbish. I was surprised when I heard the songs I really liked them and the other good thing was for once it was moe upbeat and only 1 or 2 ballads but the rest fast disco sounds. The album line up is this

Pure & Simple-an R&b sound with a nice soft sound, number 1 material

Show Me The Way To Your Love-a nice sort of ballad with an upbeat background, it starts quite slow then builds up

One Step Closer-some of this was written by kym and danny. It has a slower sort of sound not really fast, it has a good beat and is quite nice

Another Lover-this is quite fast and a good beat like most of the songs on the album.

One-this has a good background beat and I like this one, it is a good tune

Not The Kind-this is a great song one of my two favourites on the album, nice beat and nice song I could dance to this

Make It Happen-this is a good disco beat song, Mylene takes th
e lead on this song, my other favourite on the album also written by mylene, danny and susanne

Breathe-this has a pop sort of sound but it's good and great beat yet again

Carried Away-this is a sort of ballad but gets a bit faster it's nice

Sweet Alibi-this has a weird sound but I like it, it buids up and has a good sound

I Didn't Want You Anyway- This has a slow start but the chorus is fast and the song then gets more upbeat

Colourblind-This has a good fast beat to it and I like it, as soon as I heard it I liked it

Love Will Never End-this is a slow sort of ballad

Monday Monday-this must be the song of the series Popstars everyone should know the old song by now

Bridge Over Troubled Water-this is a nice slow song to end of the album with

This album is great and Hearsay have impressed me. I think the album is more for the younger crowd but some adults might like it as well if you're a pop music person.
