Although I don't look like the typical hip hop fan, with my long black hair, stretched piercings and metal band T-Shirts, I do listen to it pretty often. But I find their is a problem with most kids listening to it. There are some, but not all, fans that just go with what's popular. They fail to recognise that, what in my opinion, is true hip hop isn't about shooting and drugs but unity and dealing with issues, the same as most genres. I used to buy a great magazine called Hip-Hop connection. It had loads of MCs who were making great music but were going un-noticed by most kids. This is a review of the album 'Cheers'. This is the first release from Eminems' young prodigy, Obie Trice. Eminem has high hopes for the fella' and is backing him all of the way. This album is released on Eminems' own label, Shady Records. Much of the album is produced by Eminem and also Doctor Dre, so you can expect a stunning project. Track 1 - Average Man Any album needs a good opening track to keep you interested and want to carry on listening. It starts very slowly, with a heavy hip hop base line. Hip hop at the moment is bloody amazing with all our new artists coming back or just starting such as Missy elliot, Camron, Blacktwang, and the Wu Tang Klan. hip hop has taken a big leap and more and more people are listening to proper ruff hip hop music. overall the hip hop is coming back bigger and better than it ever was and is introducing such artists back into the frame as eminem who was not heard of in a while but has come back with an amazing tune called 'without me' listen out for it. ...
